After running into two girls coming down interior stairway i thought for sure we'd have bodies. I told Ruben to expect it and Jason to be ready for some. We sure lucked out there like you said. I could have seen a whole MCI on the C side full of victims. Another tach with an EMS branch, the whole works.
I agree Mike, really suprised we didn't have alot of bodies. It really worked well having you guys coming from the C side. Things i would do different on search/rescue: Had a marking pen to mark the doors of the rooms we searched. Not sure we closed all the doors after searching, just incase someone had been missed i think we let alot of smoke come in some of the apartments that wasnt there before.We set several ladders on the B side and i regret not passing that info on to interior companies to let them know what floor and location of ladder placement. Who spoke with the individual that was hanging off the balcony on 3rd floor? What did you say to her?
